Restart, resume

1DailyTune has been my longest constant/ongoing project to date, spanning almost 2 years. I have a tendency to start things/projects and abandoned them when the proverbial going gets tough, with countless examples to prove it, such as running, vision boarding, photography, videos, etc.

One shouldn’t think that just because I managed to post 1 tune each day for almost 2 years that was the purpose of the project. When I started the blog, I thought of combining 2 things I liked at that time, and which I still like, thankfully: music and writing.

And this is where the cheating comes into play: just posting 1 tune each day was the easy part. The harder was to write a story, a poem, a feeling for that tune, or for what it meant to me. That was the creative part of the project, as I don’t compose or create music. But I failed at that, and the large majority of blog entries are just tunes, with no words. Just somebody’s creation, without any of mine.

So, restarting the project should be my attempt to do the hard part the creative part of it, starting with this entry.
